TIME TO REBUILD

About us

IGNITE is a consulting practice designed to develop, engage and ignite relationships with Mayors, CEO's and global technology firms. The objective is to architect a connected city by placing people at the center of our purpose. IGNITE has refocused the connected city space and developed a smart framework that can scale, replicate and become profitable. The result creates a visible impact that is measured by PEOPLE through citizen engagement, transformed infrastructure and improved city services.

"They are the only firm humanizing critical smart city issues and accelerating solutions for mayors across the country. "
said Mayor Kirk Caldwell of Honolulu

IGNITE delivers pro-bono advisory services to mayors surrounding smart city initiatives while keeping people at the center of our purpose. We build scalable solutions that replicate and deliver profitability to resolve critical city issues, such as homelessness, tomorrow’s workforce, safety, mobility and infrastructure.

Innovation | “Recovery, Reimagining and Rebuilding”

In order to transform our cities, a new path forward needs to be acknowledged, and with that, an ability to unlock new opportunities, identify methods for new growth, and present a new way of living will develop. This will only occur when our local governments stand together with their residents.

Our roundtable conversations inspire us to believe and engage.  While reshaping our future is the theme, our focus is completely based on people.

COVID-19 has spread at an unprecedented pace, impacting life as we know it including loss of jobs, revealing inequities in healthcare, education, and inconsistencies in broadband. We must be inspired to innovate within and across our cities. As Mayors respond and fight the spread of COVID-19, there is also opportunities to recalibrate services, technology, and strengthen the our potential to grow

COVID-19 MAYOR SPOTLIGHT: Mayor Eric Garcetti of LA
On The Frontlines is a joint project between IGNITE CITIES and NLC.

Los Angeles is still in the middle of a voracious fight against COVID-19. Health officials are cautiously optimistic but Mayor Eric Garcetti is intentional and focused.

The city continues to be particularly intentional about ensuring its most vulnerable and those disproportionately impacted by the novel coronavirus have access to resources, testing and care.
On The Frontlines of COVID-19 with Mayor Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles, CA
“In this moment of vulnerability... we are reminded of our central...obligation to reach out to those who have been knocked down and help them get back up on their feet. In Los Angeles meeting that commitment has meant ensuring our black and brown communities have equitable access to COVID-19 testing, implementing historic tenant and worker protections, bringing our unhoused neighbors indoors at an unprecedented speed, providing meals to homebound seniors, and offering critical childcare to our essential workers.”

                                                                                               Mayor Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles

A message from Mayor Garcetti,

"Los Angeles is a capital of innovation and creativity, where we know that cutting-edge technology can offer smart solutions to everything from city services and transportation, to public safety, sustainability, and economic development.

Our partnership with IGNITE will help us build a more connected, dynamic, and engaged City, with an infrastructure designed to meet the challenges of today and the opportunities of the future,"
                                                                               - said Mayor Garcetti
