our purpose

We recognize the requirement for cities to become smart and connected has countless resources from both private and public sector extremely busy, yet no real and quantifiable traction has been made systematically.  There have been one-off projects that have taken months to RFP and even longer to accomplish, but they are usually in silos and are not sustainable.  There is an opportunity for city leaders to emerge on a global scale and refocus with direction, supported by a network of influencers (private/public sector) to author the framework to build an Intelligent City that can scale, replicate and is profitable.
“Mayor Benjamin, who also serves as President of the United States Conference of Mayors, added, “IGNITE is in a unique and strategic space as they target those who are at the center of the equation to ensure results. In order to align purpose across departments and a methodology that will succeed, I am excited to support IGNITE in anticipation of how they’ll be able to help and guide cities.” ”

our objective

Cities need to evolve and adapt in order to stay relevant.  Our objective is to deliver a scalable framework that:
  1. Empower Mayors to drive scalable solutions across the city and all departments with measurable results.
  2. Establish a strategic framework focused on people with quantified metrics that support the Mayors core priorities.
  3. Deliver solutions that scale, replicate and are profitable for all cities.
  4. Outline a succinct external/internal communication plan to evangelize IGNITES framework across non-traditional channels.
  5. Establish collaboration across Mayors/cities to ensure we remove risk of failure and enable a higher level of success across projects, cities and services.
